Bangkok dangerous

It’s the new movie starring Nicholas cage. He seemed a bit buffed than usual and is it me, or did he grows more hair?

Another assassins movie. Joe is a hired killer, and a pretty good one. A man who is married to his work. He didn’t have time fof friends and wife. And he’s lonely. He’s ending this line of work and going for a last stint at Bangkok. Well, four stints actually. Now you know that there’s going to be something wrong. Whenever you said that this is the last one, you always jinx it.

I wonder how many people out there which chosed hired kiler as their profession. I mean, how did they started out? Where did they sign up to register? Do they have a union? Or a code that govern their conduct? How does they rate their services.

I remember reading somewhere that there was a group of people which took opium or hashis and their job is killers for hire. The hashis they smoked was where the word ‘assasin’ comes from. And i remembered my lecturer telling the class where the product name Rentokil comes from. It’s a derivative from the word Rent to Kill… Got it?

Anyway Joe or Nic Cage got to Bangkok because he got a customer over there who wants him to kill somebody.

Hey, bet that you don’t know that the word ‘Bangkok’ hasn’t been used officially for over 200 years now. It used to be a fishing vilage when in 1782 King Rama built a city on and renamed it to another name: Krung Thep. It’s an abbreviation of it’s official name: let me get this right, Krungthep Mahanakhon Amorn Rattanakosin Mahintara Yudthaya Mahadilok Pohp Noparat Rajathanee Bureerom Udomrajniwes Mahasatarn Amorn Pimarn Avaltarnsatit Sakatattiya Visanukram Prasit. Phew… What a name. It’s the longest place name in the world. And Krung Thep is the only city in Thailand. Can you believe that? It’s forty times bigger than the next largest town. Ok, ok, to much information right?

so Joe goes about his business mercilesly and along the way met someone that likes to learn the art of killing from him and also a love interest.

But the lovely lady, did i mentioned she’s mute?, decided to call it quit when she found out that he’s an assasin.

But the bad guys managed to wreck havoc and Joe has to do his best to kill as many people/bad guys as possible.

But at the end, the police got involved and Joe had to kill the big boss together with himself. Now this is a bummer. I hate it when the hero or the heroin dies. Makes me feel that it’s such a waste of time watching the movie in the first place. I always like a happy ending in a movie. It leaves me feeling happy leaving the cinema. I mean, isn’t that what I’m paying for?
